The campsite at Lower Terawhiti Farm may be laid back and simple but it has everything you need to have a fabulous affordable holiday here in the South Hams.

Pitches are large and spacious at 10m x 10m minimum and the rest of the field is there for children to run free, roam and cycle to their heart's content.

There is no electricity on the site but we are happy for you to have barbeques, hire a fire pit from us or bring your own (because of the fire risk We do not allow fires unless in a pit).  We can also supply you with wood and kindling at £5.00 per net.

Facilities include coin operated hot showers and eco long drop loos each complete with a sink and mirror. There is also an enclosed cold water shower for a quick invigorating rinse, standpipes for water, kitchen sink areas for washing up with hot water (coin operated) and communal fridges/freezers for ice-packs.  You are welcome to hire one of our fire pits or bring along your own.  To keep the costs down you will need to supply your own loo roll, though if you should forget it is available to purchase.

Hot & cold water enclosed

showers - cubicle complete

with towel/clothing hooks

and bathroom caddy for

your showering products.

(Hot shower operates on a

£1 and 20p coin meter)

A chemical waste pit in the neighbouring field is easily accessible if required for campervans.

We ask you please to recycle as much of your waste as possible in the appropriate bins provided.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but please do have consideration for others and pick up the poo.

Our campsite is set in a beautiful area and we expect all campers to respect this and the people around them.  Please do not litter the site or the surrounding countryside and please do not make loud noise during your stay.  We do ask that campers are quiet after 10.30 pm onwards and to understand that others maybe trying to sleep. Please note that we do not accept groups of under 18's without a parent or ID and nor do we allow generators.

There are no formal arrival procedures though we do ask that you do not arrive before 1.00pm and upon your day of departure you vacate the site by 12 noon

in order to avoid another night's camping fee.

Whilst staying with us, do let Anita know if anything is not working or if you

have any questions or queries. Either phone or catch Anita as she walks round

the campsite cleaning the facilities.

South Devon Camping is only open for 56 days throughout the year after which

time we have to pack all our facilities away and our lovely site reverts back

to it's agricultural roots. This is a planning regulation which affects many of

the campsites here in South Devon and does mean that we are all limited as to

the facilities we can offer. Therefore you won't find any electric hook-up,

concrete or tarmac ! Just lovely views, clear starry skys, glorious sunsets, the moon, a great vibe, a super coastline in walking distance and rustic

facilities which add to the charm of our site and give a little bit of hot

shower luxury !

If you haven't got all the gear or just want to make your stay that

little bit more special, how about hiring a bell tent from emmasvintagetents@outlook.com

Please check "Tariff & Opening Times" tab for site opening times.
