South Devon Camping: Two Unique Fields to Choose From
We are a seasonal campsite and open for only a few weeks of the year before returning to our agricultural roots — part of what keeps the site so peaceful and unspoilt.
There are two sites to choose from …
The South Devon Campsite is the larger site which has a wonderful valley view and is home to the hot showers, hot water, loos, fridges, freezers and USB phone charging.
Garden Field is the smaller site of just fifteen pitches which has loos, a fridge, freezer and USB phone charging (hot showers and hot water are available in the South Devon Camping site opposite, only a few metres away). Some pitches also have a sea view.
If you have a preference as to where you want to stay, please let Anita know at the point of booking or you will be allocated a pitch in one of these two sites.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have electric hook-up?
No — we are a rustic, off-grid style campsite and don’t offer electric hook-up. But we do have free USB charging points for mobiles plus the use of free fridges and freezers.
Are the showers free to use?
Showers are coin-operated at 20p per minute to help us conserve water and energy. The meters accept both 20p and £1 coins, so please bring plenty of these with you. Change is also available once you’re here if needed.
Can I bring my own fire pit or BBQ?
Yes — fire pits are welcome as long as they are raised off the ground. You can also hire one of ours and we sell wood too if you need it ! We don't allow disposable BBQs and open fires on the ground.
Are dogs allowed on the campsite?
Yes! Dogs stay free and are welcome when accompanied by responsible owners. Please clean up after them and keep them under control around the campsite.
Do you provide fridges or freezers?
Yes — we have communal fridges and freezers available for all guests to use at no extra cost.
How far is the beach from the campsite?
South Milton Sands and Leas Foot beach are just a 10-minute walk away — so no need to worry about paying for beach parking. There are also lots of other beaches along the South West coastal path at Hope Cove and Bantham. All in easy reach on foot or by car.
What kinds of toilets do you have?
We have clean and well-maintained eco long-drop loos, designed to be environmentally friendly.
Do you have a chemical disposal point ?
Yes we do ! There is an Elsan disposal point on the farm to empty your black water, please just ask for it's location.
Do you take caravans ?
Unfortunately due to planning restrictions, we do not take caravans at the South Devon Camping site. However there is a separate field on the farm which is licensed under the Caravan & Camping Club. Please contact us to check availability or ask for further details.
